I really enjoy deck-building games. A couple of my favorites are Legendary Encounters and Eminent Domain. I’ve also played several others such as Legendary (Marvel), Dominion, and Arctic Scavengers, to name a few. One of the newest games to enter into the genre is DC Comics Deck-Building Game: Rivals – Batman vs The Joker.
Overview Rivals is a two player deck-building game in which one players takes on the role of Batman and the other the role of The Joker in an effort to destroy each other.
Hello Ayrphish Phans! It has been a good long time since I have gotten to play or post anything, but I couldn’t be more excited about today’s topic, and that’s Imperial Assault. I plan on writing a couple of articles and reviews for Imperial Assault, covering both the skirmish mode and campaign play, as well as some strategies for both, and who knows what else. Today will be my initial review of the game.
King of Tokyo is one of my family’s favorite games! It’s a fun, colorful, fast paced, dice rolling game in which all players are monsters, mutants, and/or robots causing destruction to each other as they try to kill off other players, earn victory points, heal their own wounds, and gather energy cubes to purchase upgrades, knowing that there can only be one King of Tokyo… The first player to accumulate 20 victory points OR the last person standing is the winner!
In this episode, Gregg, Candace, Jason, Todd and Curtis discuss their Christmas gaming haul, playing games with family, and what they are looking forward to in 2015.
Below are links to some of the games discussed in this episode.

We spent our entire weekend at Wichita’s first ever board gaming convention – Tsunami Con! We spent the bulk of it in the Dungeon… and, we had a magnificent time!
The convention opened at noon on a Friday. As Gregg and I walked into the Dungeon, i.e. Room of Game Demos, there were already people set up and playing games! Awesome!
We quickly set up the table with our fancy new banner, some information about who we are & what we do, laid out some buttons, and displayed plenty of games!
